The abbot of the UAOC monastery returns to the canonical Church from schism

Archimandrite Nicholai (Rakivchak) has returned to the fold of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from schism, writes the website of the Mukachevo diocese of the UOC.

The cleric has been in the so-called Carpathian diocese of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church from 2015, where he was the abbot of the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Monastery in the village of Chynadievo, Mukachevo district.

After an appeal to Archbishop Theodore of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod with sincere repentance, Archimandrite Nicholas was reappointed as a member of the Mukachevo diocese.
