At Council of Bishops the UOC chose its way of ministry, – Primate
"A new road was chosen at the Council of Bishops of Kharkov, a new way of ministry in those new realities that we were confronted with at that time," said the Primate of the UOC. “This is the reality of democracy and freedom. And in these new conditions the Church chose its path of Service to God."
Speaking about the strength of the present collective prayer on the Vladimir hill, Vladyka said: "The Lord said where two or three will gather in my name, there I am among them (Matthew 18:20). And there are tens of thousands of us here. God is among us. We are united by faith in Christ. Believers came from different parts of Ukraine and from other countries. And this shows that we are all united in Christ.
