100 000 people participate in Cross Procession-2017, – UOC

As the UOJ correspondent reports, about 100 thousand people took part in the religious procession dedicated to the Baptism of Rus this year. This was told at a briefing by the UOC Chancellor, Metropolitan of Boryspil and Brovary Anthony (Pakanich).

Vladyka congratulated all those present on the holiday and said that the number of participants was counted during their registration by the organizing committee the day before.

The Procession-2017 was accompanied by 11 miraculous icons and the relics of Prince Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles. Shrines are available for worship in the Trapezny Church of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
