Phanar delegation in Belgrad to have talks with Serbian Church

On October 24, 2019, a delegation of the Patriarchate of Constantinople arrived in Belgrade to hold talks on Orthodox issues with Patriarch Irinej and other hierarchs of the Church of Serbia, Orthodox Times reports.

Some of the representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate were Metropolitans John of Pergamon, Emmanuel of France, Maximos of Silivri, Amphilochios of Adrianople, and Deputy Secretary of the Holy Synod, Grigorios. All the above members of the delegation are strong advocates of the OCU.

As reported by the UOJ, on October 22, a delegation of the Georgian Church met with representatives of the US Department of State. The statement of the Georgian Patriarchate said that "plans for the future and cooperation were discussed at the meetings."
