On June 11, 2023, in the city of Myronivka, Kyiv region, at a meeting of the territorial community, which was organized by supporters of the OCU on the “transfer” the St. Michael Parish of the UOC to their organization, the majority of those present opposed this plan. This is evidenced by the video published on the Pershy Kozatsky Telegram channel.

The initiators of the meeting in the municipal House of Culture, among whom were regional council deputy from the Servant of the People party Olena Shust and OCU “archpriest” Volodymyr Petryk, tried to present the vote of their like-minded people, who were in the minority as a “decision of the religious community” and close the meeting on this. However, most of the local residents prevented this from happening and voted against the transition. At the same time, hundreds of people chanted: “We are against the OCU!”

On the same day, the believers confirmed their choice at the meeting of the St. Michael's community in the church, once again declaring their loyalty to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

As the UOJ reported, in early May, the community of the Holy Dormition Parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Korop, Chernihiv region, prevented the unlawful “transfer” to the OCU. Almost half a thousand believers of the UOC came to the meeting, which was held in the House of Culture by the “priest” of the Dumenkovites, and thwarted the provocation.
