UOC hierarch meets with Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra in Greece

On November 16, during a pilgrimage to Corfu, Metropolitan Philip (Osadchenko) of Poltava and Mirgorod met with the hierarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Nektarios of Corfu (Kerkyra), Paxoi and Diapontian Islands, reports the press service of the Poltava Eparchy of the UOC.

The meeting took place in the Metropolis of Corfu after the Divine Liturgy, which Vladyka Philip celebrated in the church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous, where the relics of the saint are buried.

The meeting took place in a fraternal atmosphere, the Poltava Eparchy noted.

During the meeting, the hierarchs discussed topical issues in the life of the Orthodox Church.

As reported, Metropolitan Nektarios of Kerkyra said that he recognizes only one canonical Church in Ukraine – the UOC.
