Planned Parenthood Caught Misleading PA Women—Again

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A recent investigation by the Pennsylvania Family Institute reveals that Planned Parenthood is misleading Pennsylvania women by advertising "Prenatal and Postpartum Services" on their websites, despite not offering prenatal care at any of their clinics. This echoes a 2017 exposé when similar false claims were removed after public scrutiny, only to resurface now.
Direct calls to Planned Parenthood Keystone and Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania confirmed that none of their facilities provide prenatal care, contradicting their online listings. Screenshots from eight clinic websites document the misleading information.
Governor Josh Shapiro has also been criticized for claiming that defunding Planned Parenthood would limit access to "essential, lifesaving care" like prenatal services, a statement the investigation deems false. Dan Bartkowiak of the Pennsylvania Family Institute called it a "bait-and-switch," accusing Planned Parenthood of prioritizing abortion services over genuine care.
This deception could mislead pregnant women seeking prenatal support, potentially funneling them toward abortion services. With millions in taxpayer funding at stake, the findings call for greater transparency. Women seeking legitimate prenatal care are encouraged to explore community-based pregnancy resource centers via Heartbeat International’s directory.
