WASHINGTON, D.C. — Orthodox Christians for Life are inviting faithful to join the 2026 March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Friday, January 23. The event, held on the National Mall, marks the annual commemoration of the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, while celebrating the sanctity and dignity of every human life from conception to natural death.

Participants will gather at 9:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Cathedral for Divine Liturgy and a breakfast reception, then proceed to the National Mall by noon for the rally. The Orthodox faithful will hold a Service of Supplication for an End to Abortion and sing hymns during the march, which concludes at the Supreme Court by 4:00 p.m.

The Orthodox group encourages all to participate in this joyful and peaceful demonstration, emphasizing the ongoing work to protect life at state and federal levels. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and follow updates at oclife.org/march.

Previously, the UOJ reported on a pro-life activist in Minnesota who was jailed for praying near an abortion clinic.
