ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Order of St. Ignatius of Antioch is once again providing significant financial assistance to help young people across the Archdiocese attend summer camp. This year, more than 3,200 youth are expected to participate in one of the Archdiocesan summer camps, where they will spend one or two weeks immersed in Orthodox Christian community, prayer, learning, and fellowship.
More than one in four campers receives partial or full tuition scholarships funded by The Order. Camping Ministry Director Khalil G. Samara expressed gratitude to His Eminence Metr. Saba, Dr. Ramzi Khairallah, the Governing Council, and Order members for their continued generosity, which makes the camp experience accessible to families in need.
Each parish has been allocated up to $1,000 in financial assistance for campers, with requests due by March 31, 2026. Funds may be applied to recognized Archdiocesan camps throughout the United States and Canada, though registration requirements remain in effect.
Any archdiocese pastor who did not receive instructions about the camp scholarships may reach out to Khalil Samara at camping@antiochian.org.
Previously, the UOJ reported that Camp St. Raphael marked 25 years of faith, fellowship, and fun.
