JORDANVILLE, NY — Holy Trinity Publications has announced a series of developments ahead of the Great Fast, including a new staff appointment, recently signed book contracts, and several titles currently in preparation.

The publisher has added the Rev. Priest Ignatius Green as a full-time editor. He brings more than a decade of experience in Orthodox publishing and previously served as editor-in-chief of St Vladimir’s Seminary Press, where he worked on projects including the Popular Patristics series. He also serves as rector of Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in Columbia, South Carolina, and his appointment is expected to support an increase in new titles in the coming years.

HTP has also secured a contract with Bp. Irenei (Steenberg) of London and Western Europe (ROCOR) for a forthcoming book tentatively titled "Lord of Creation," which will explore the patristic vision of creation and redemption, following his earlier volume "The Pursuit of Godliness."

Additional works in progress include a new edition in the Practical Handbook series featuring a text on confession by Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky), previously issued as "Confession: A Series of Lectures on the Mystery of Repentance." New editions of the life and service of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg and an altar-sized priest service book are also underway, while the ROCOR clergy directory is available as a free PDF and as a print-on-demand volume.

HTP also shared that the publications office will be closed for Clean Week, although online orders will continue to be processed through the publisher’s website. Liturgical texts for Clean Week, excluding portions from the Menaion, are being offered as free downloads through Orthodox Life.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Archimandrite Michael (Crowley) was consecrated as Bishop of Boston at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville this past weekend.
