MERCER, PA — The American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of North America has announced its seventh annual Ss. Joachim and Anna Senior Retreat, scheduled for May 5–7 at Camp Nazareth Retreat and Conference Center. Registration closes on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
The retreat will gather Orthodox faithful aged 55 and older for two days of prayer, fellowship, and spiritual teaching under the blessing of Metr. Gregory of Nyssa. The theme, “Living and Dying Orthodox in the 21st Century,” will guide keynote talks, services, and group discussions focused on faith in modern life.
Organizers say participants will also enjoy shared meals, evening events, and the beautiful, natural setting of the diocesan camp. With lodging and commuter options available, they are urging immediate registration as the deadline approaches rapidly.
Previously, the UOJ reported that an Orthodox retreat center was planned on California’s Central Coast.
