ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America is preparing for its annual Parish Life Conferences (PLCs), with gatherings scheduled across all seven dioceses during June and July. Organizers are encouraging parishioners to register and participate in what are often described as diocesan family reunions that combine worship, education, fellowship, and youth activities.
This year’s conferences will be hosted by parishes throughout the United States and Canada. Events begin June 10 with conferences in the Dioceses of Miami and the Southeast and Wichita and Mid-America. Additional gatherings will follow in Ohio, Massachusetts, Virginia, California, and Quebec, concluding in early July. Each conference is expected to bring together clergy and laity from across the respective dioceses.
A variety of spiritual, educational, and social activities have been planned. Participants will attend liturgical services, hear presentations from guest speakers, and enjoy fellowship with Orthodox Christians from neighboring parishes. Youth programs will feature activities such as the Bible Bowl, Oratorical Festival, and Creative Festival, providing opportunities for learning and friendly competition.
Organizers also encourage families to take advantage of excursions and local attractions in each host city. The conferences are intended to strengthen ties among parish communities while fostering faith, friendship, and a deeper connection to diocesan life throughout the Archdiocese. Registrations for PLC events can be found here.
