SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The Dormition of the Virgin Mary Cathedral of the Hamptons is scheduled to host the 2026 Blue Dream Summer Gala on August 29. This year's event will honor Project Healthy Minds and Mazi gia to Paidi, which is marking 30 years of supporting vulnerable children and families.
Konstantinos Argyros, the well-known Greek singer, will be performing at the gala, which is to be held on the commemoration of the Beheading of St. John the Forerunner — a day of strict fasting in the Orthodox Church. Fr. Alex Karloutsos, the Grand Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne, is dean of the cathedral and serves as a spiritual advisor for the event.
