Prosecutor General 's Office summons for questioning Primate of UOC because of infamous Metropolitan Drabinko

General Prosecutor's Office questioned the Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine about the case of the forcible retention in custody of Metropolitan Alexander (Drabinko). This was said by the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko in the program "Left Bank", reports 24 Channel.

He explained that in this case a lot of evidence has already been collected and many witnesses have been questioned, but the interrogation of a number of important persons is continuing.

According to Lutsenko, the procedural status of another participant of the conflict, the deputy of the "Opposition Block" Vadim Novinsky, can be changed. "Drabinko specifies moments that can change the procedural status of witness to the people's deputy Novinsky," noted the Prosecutor General.

Lutsenko added that now there is some justification to bring to prosecute Viktor Yanukovich in this case.

Recently, the media has reported on the investigation by the Prosecutor General's Office of the criminal case, in which the late Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir was allegedly attempted to be forcibly removed from the church office. The UOC issued a clarification on this matter and calls bishops callings for questioning the pressure on the Church.
