Another discriminatory for the Church bill submitted to Parliament
The initiators of the bill were deputies Igor Brichenko, Alexander Briginets, Ivan Krulko, Yaroslav Markevich, Sergei Vysotsky and Igor Lapin.
The amendments proposed say that "a religious organization (association), which directly or as part of a religious organization (association) is included in the structure (is part) of the religious organization (association), whose governing center (management) is situated outside Ukraine in the State, recognized as carrying out military aggression against Ukraine and temporarily occupying part of the territory of Ukraine is obliged to show in its full name, indicated in the statute (regulations), the affiliation with a religious organization (association) outside Ukraine, in which it is included (of which it is part), by mandatory reproduction in its name of the full statutory name of the specified religious organization (association) with the possible addition of the words "in Ukraine" and / or designation of its place within the structure of a foreign religious organization."
It also indicates that affiliation of a religious organization in this case is determined by the presence of one of the following features:
"1) the statute (regulations) of a religious organization operating in Ukraine, refers to being part of the structure of a religious organization (association), whose governing center (management) is situated outside Ukraine;
2) the statute (regulations) of a foreign religious organization (association), whose governing center (management) is situated outside Ukraine in the State, recognized as carrying out military aggression against Ukraine and temporarily occupying part of the territory of Ukraine, refers to having in its structure a religious organization (association), operating in the territory of Ukraine, as well as to the right of the statutory authorities of the specified foreign religious organization (association) to make decisions on canonical and organizational issues, which are mandatory for the religious organization (association), operating in the territory of Ukraine;
3) the statute (regulations) of a religious organization (association), whose governing center (management) is situated outside Ukraine in the State, recognized as carrying out military aggression against Ukraine and temporarily occupying part of the territory of Ukraine, provides for the mandatory entry of the leaders (authorized representatives) of a religious organization (association ), operating in the territory of Ukraine, to the statutory authorities of the specified foreign religious organization (association) with the right to vote."
