November 18, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine participated in a meeting of All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. This was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.

Addressing the audience and the President of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphriy stressed that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has always supported Ukraine's integrity and unity of the Ukrainian people. "We will do everything for it to be maintained and reached, and the problems that we have to be eliminated," - said His Beatitude.
President Petro Poroshenko during a meeting thanked UCCRO representatives for prayer, and for the actions that are aimed at the union of the Ukrainian people.

As the UOJ reported, the Council of Churches issued a message for the establishment of peace and the development of Ukrainian society.
