Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) congratulates orphaned children on St. Nicholas Day (PHOTO, VIDEO)

December 19, Metropolitan of Borispol and Brovary, Chancellor of the UOC Anthony (Pakanich) congratulated the pupils of the Kopylov Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation on St. Nicholas Day.

As a UOJ correspondent reports, each child received a sweet gift and the Center – a food processor granted by Metropolitan Anthony.

The pupils enjoyed a theatrical performance specially organized for them. In his address to orphaned children, Metropolitan Anthony noted that St. Nicholas Day is a feast of kindness, and it is important for every priest of the UOC: today there are celebrations in all parishes.

The event was held with the support of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy Charity Foundation of the UOC "Peace be with you!"
