The Cabinet provides access for chaplains to State Special Transportation Service

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the introduction of chaplain service in the State Special Transportation Service of Ukraine. A respective Ordinance # 964-р of December 14 is placed on the governmental portal.

Under the document, the Ordinance on service of the military clergy (chaplains) applies from now on to the State Special Transportation Service of Ukraine.

It was done to “organize due pastoral guidance of the believers who perform their military service in the above institution”, which allows militaries to take part in worships and religious ceremonies,” according to the announcement.

As it was reported by the UOJ, in November the VR did not allow hospitals to employ clergymen.
