"Three Lavras": Young pilgrims from Lugansk visit UOC Primate
Greeting the young guests on St. Nicholas Day, His Beatitude wished them to be true Christians, trying to love everyone, and recalled the life of the Saint who was the embodiment of Christian love. The children thanked the Primate for his kind words of counsel and received from His Beatitude gifts and blessings.
On the same day the young pilgrims visited the shrines of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Earlier, they had been to the Svyatogorsk Lavra. Then, according to the organizers, the children will visit the festive Pochaev Lavra.
The "Three Lavras" project was initiated by a public volunteer organization "Civil Corps", which works closely with the Synodal Department of the UOC for relations with the Armed Forces and other military formations of Ukraine.
