Believers of Ptichya village ask the police to secure the UOC temple

The UOC faithful of Ptichya village of Dubno district, Rovno region were able to defend their church from schismatics, who had tried to take it over, and now request the police to ensure security of the temple.

According to the UOJ source, the believers called the police squad as soon as the schismatics had begun the church storm. Law enforcement representatives arrived when the parishioners had managed to defend their church on their own.

The UOC believers filed an application to the police on the church raiding attempt as well as an application asking to ensure security of the church during Christmas holidays.

UOJ is watching developments.
