Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) presents film "The Baptism of Christ" (VIDEO)

Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, Vicar of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, theologian, patrologist, church historian, composer and teacher Hilarion (Alfeyev) presented a film dedicated to the Baptism of Christ.

The film reveals the theological meaning of the feast. The ancient icons in honor of the Theophany are shown in the documentary.

In addition, the film demonstrates cultural differences of celebrating the feast of the Lord’s Baptism in different countries.
