January 22, guests from Drohobych visited Avdeyevka to congratulate locals on the bright feast – the Nativity of Christ, reports the website of the Donetsk diocese of the UOC.

Dressed in colorful costumes, with Christmas paraphernalia, carolers came to the St Mary Magdalene Church. With merry Christmas carols they glorified the Born Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Gospel-based story was staged about the events that happened in Bethlehem more than two thousand years ago.

After the performance, the guests of the town walked along the Central Avenue, heading for Avdeyevka secondary school № 7 to continue the celebration.

Along the way they greeted passers-by and glorified our Lord Jesus Christ, by singing Christmas carols.
