«Death to Enemies!» slogan is from the evil one, – Catholic bishop

One cannot defend Ukraine and curse your enemies at the same time. Only love can kead to victory. It was said by assistant bishop of Kharkov-Zaporozhye diocese Ian Sobilo, when he was telling about his trip to Donbass with the Pope's Nuncio Claudio Gugerotti, reports Maria Radio.

«One had better defend Ukraine in a way pointed to by Jesus Christ: «Love your enemies…», underscored the bishop. «It's necessary to defend your country but without cursing.»

«By saying «death to enemies!» we empower the devil,» he said.

«The future is in the hands of Christian love. God wants to show us namely this,» concluded Ian Sobilo.
