Kiev – Lugansk humanitarian mission: Believers of UOC deliver aid to orphans
The children welcomed the clergy with special joy. His Grace blessed the little ones, their teachers, and wished God's help.
Responding to a question why this particular children’s home received humanitarian aid, Bishop Clement said that the clergy of the Severodonetsk diocese, led by Vladika Nikodim, have long been spiritually guarding this institution and trying to provide material assistance.
Also, the Vicar of the Kiev Metropolitanate donated a few tones of food collected by the capital's parishes and monasteries for the faithful of the Severodonetsk diocese.
The aid will be distributed among the civilians of the Lugansk region, the most affected by the hostilities and forced to leave their homes.
