Archaeologists prove the reality of a prophecy of Jesus Christ
Archaeologists conducting excavations in the South-Eastern part of the city near the Temple mount. That’s where they found arrowheads and ammunition for the ballistae.
"We intend to excavate the entire main street of ancient Jerusalem in the period of 5 years. This is a complete and, in fact, unique excavations of the site, which is over a hundred years attracted the attention of archaeologists from all over the world, " said in an interview with the Jewish Press Dr. Yuval Baruch, chief archaeologist of Jerusalem.
The excavation also involved biologists and geologists. Upon completion of the study, found artifacts will be put on public display.
