320 pages of memory. A book about All-Ukrainian Cross Procession – 2016 published

On May 30, at 11:00, the presentation of the book-album "All-Ukrainian Cross Procession. The walk of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine. 3-27 July 2016" took place in the Refectory Church of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The edition includes the best photos taken during the prayerful procession of believers to Kiev from the Sviatogorsk and Pochaev Lavras, reports a UOJ correspondent.

It has taken more than half a year to complete the work on the book-album. 500 best photos for the edition were selected from 35 thousand pictures. Most of the works belong to the photo artist Sergei Ryzhkov. The book also presents photos by Ivan Nakonechny, Alexei Nakonechny, Archimandrite Lazar (Tereshchenko), Julia Borodinova and others. The editor-in-chief is Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich).

The book publishes the Message of the Primate of the UOC Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, His Beatitude Onufry. Vladika calls to pray for peace in the united Ukraine.

The circulation of the edition is 1,000 copies. The album is not intended for sale. The exclusive book will be given as a gift to the distinguished participants of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession – the laity and the clergy.

The publication of the album became possible with the support of the people's deputy of Ukraine Vadim Novinsky.

The All-Ukrainian Cross Procession for the sake of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine became the most massive in the country: from 80 to 100 thousand believers took part in it.
