Metropolitan of Borispol Anthony calls on journalists to be guided with Evangelic truths

Journalists have a great responsibility, because the morality and professionalism of representatives of this profession affect the quality of the formation of ideological benchmarks of Ukrainians, said in his greeting to the journalists Chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony of Borispol and Brovary, reports the UOC Information Center.

"Journalists are the eyes of society. The information you bring to people largely shapes their perception of reality. Every day we see the world through the lenses of your cameras, learn about events from news feeds.

Your mission is very honorable and complicated. In your hands there is a great force and at the same time a huge responsibility. How you use the power of the word depends only on you. May your criteria be evangelical truths, which your own standards of good and evil must always be guided with," said Metropolitan Anthony.

"I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday – Journalist's Day! May the Lord help in carrying the word of truth, peace and may peace reign supreme in the soul, and may the results of the work be only good fruits," wished the UOC Chancellor.
