The way to overcome the schism is only one, – hierarch of UOC (VIDEO)

Сhancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) of Boryspil and Brovary told a UOJ correspondent how to overcome the church schism in Ukraine.

"Every believer in Ukraine worries about the schism and understands that the present state of things is unnatural," said Met. Anthony. "Ukraine is united, and Orthodox people should also be united. It's another matter how exactly the union will take place. Those who fell into schism should understand that it is they who are to blame for what happened. An Orthodox Christian repents of every sin. And as representatives of the Local Churches testify, there is only one way to overcome the schism – the way of repentance. And the foundation of the One Church should be the canonical Church – the UOC, which stands in communion with all Orthodox Churches through the Moscow Patriarchate."
