On the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord from Kamianets-Podilsky to the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra a religious procession started off. According to the correspondent of the UOJ, over 20 thousand believers are taking part in the event currently.

The procession began after the festive Liturgy from the cathedral of Kamianets-Podilsky. Part of the pilgrims joined the procession in the village of Dolzhok, where Metropolitan of Kamenets-Podolsky and Gorodok Theodore with the clergy served a prayer service, after which the column of believers went further on.

As the UOJ correspondent reports, the time of the passage of the column took more than half an hour.

Believers of Kamenets-Podolsky, Chernovtsy, Volyn, Odessa and other eparchies of the UOC, as well as pilgrims from abroad, participate in the procession every year. Pilgrims walk in the procession for a week.
