Clergy of Vinnitsa eparchy aid evacuees from Kalinovka
Evacuees, including children, were placed in the monastery's sketes, buildings and temples. Everyone was provided with food and hot tea.
Some evacuees left the monastery in the morning, but many are still in the care of the abbot, Archimandrite Mark and the brethren. On the night of the explosions, Father Mark himself also went to Kalinovka and brought people to the monastery.
Many families, especially those with young children, are hosted by volunteers. Among them there are priests and parishioners of Vinnitsa churches who offer their assistance to the coordinators.
Metropolitan Simeon of Vinnitsa and Bar prayed for the victims of the explosions at the Transfiguration Cathedral and asked for God's help for the Vinnitsa land.
Vladyka provided any feasible assistance from the Vinnitsa eparchy to the representatives of the city authorities responsible for evacuation. The material aid has already been given to the patients evacuated from Kalinovka. Also, 80 village residents of Vinnitsa district were transported to the regional centre at night.
