Activists from S14 launch protest actions against UOC in Lutsk

Head of the press-service of Volyn eparchy of the UOC Protopriest Oleg Tochinsky reports that activists from S14 and “National Alliance” arranged protest actions at the temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lutsk. It was written by father Oleg on his Facebook page.

"On the fences they unoriginally placed soft toys and even hung out leaflets with calls "Get away the Moscow priest "and" We must complete what was started by our grandparents and great-grandparents," Oleg Tochinsky writes. “I wonder what kind of grandfathers they are talking about. Is it not about those who dumped the domes on temples, and exiled the believers to Kolyma? I am convinced that the performers of this action have at least one or two Komsomol grandfathers."

At the same time, father Oleg asks himself: how do activists help children? And he gives an example of how the children are taken care of in Volyn eparchy of the UOC.

The head of the press service lists, "With the assistance and direct participation of our Church the following takes place: 1) Annual charity Christmas concert (funds raised during the festival are directed to the needs of Ukrainian orphans). 2) Annual charity festival "Volyn Blagovest" (funds raised during the festival are also transferred to rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities, orphanages, various public organizations, etc.). 3) Volyn eparchy regularly supports children whose parents died, defending Ukraine. 4) On the occasion of the great holidays (Christmas, Easter), Volyn eparchy annually participates in the support of children deprived of parental guardianship and custody, disabled children. And that is not to mention constant cooperation with other public organizations, medical institutions."

Protopriest Oleg Tochinsky notes that he personally did not come across representatives of S14 and National Alliance in the preparation of none of the listed good deeds, including the recent release of prisoners of war.
