Tithes Monastery brethren express gratitude to believers for their support
"More than three thousand Orthodox Christians gathered at the walls of the Tithes Monastery, stood for ten hours and showed with their prayers to all ill-wishers that God is with us and we are on the side of truth!" write the brethren.
Monks separately thank law enforcers for the professional suppression of provocations on behalf of a few radicals, as well as representatives of the media, whose presence, as they said, had a "sobering effect on militant representatives of certain political forces".
On February 3, three thousand believers of the UOC gathered for a prayer service in defense of the monastery from the radicals who threatened to destroy the monastery. The Orthodox protected the monastery for 10 hours.
