Journalists take pictures of the burnt UOC temple in Lvov
The photographs show that the interior of the temple is very badly damaged by fire. The parishioners carried the remains of church utensils to the street. The photos are made against the backdrop of the church of the UOC-KP, which is very near.
In connection with the incident, Archbishop Filaret of Lvov and Galicia stated that it was "very strange when Christians express their political position by setting fire to the temple."
On the night of February 3, in Sikhov residential area in Lvov, the church of the UOC of St. Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles was set on fire. The fire destroyed the roof lining, a 100-square-meter wood covering, the floor and the church implements.
Earlier, on January 28, radical activists blocked the temple.
