Nationalists show up in Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

A whole bunch of nationalists came to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

Several representatives of the nationalistic organization "S14" were reporting live from the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, where, as they said for camera, they just "came to visit and look for separatists". At 14:10 the radicals led by Yevgeny Karas, talking of the "occupation" of the cult structure, came to the residence of the abbot of the Lavra and began to ask the monastery brethren provocative questions. A few minutes later, a police patrol arrived. The uninvited guests broke into groups, some of them rushing around the temple, trying to get through the gate blocked by the law enforcers.

The nationalists picked on the parishioners and representatives of the UOC for some time, concluded that "the excursion went well" and stopped the live broadcast.

"S14" is a radical organization entered into the terrorist base for the spread of hatred, racist materials and attacks on markets, whose owners were of non-ethnic Ukrainian origin.

This is not their first visit to the Lavra. On January 8, about 30 people in balaclavas from the right-wing organization barricaded the entrance to the caves of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. On January 25, the nationalists attacked the Tithes (Desiatinny) Monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the UOC, and before that they had blocked the UOJ office in Kiev.
