Filaret announces when SLC will get autocephaly

Filaret believes that Tomos and autocephaly for the SLC are to be bestowed by the Constantinople Patriarchate in the nearest time, as early as in the summer. It is reported by “24 channel”.
"It is hoped a lot that in the near future, I think, it will be in July, we will get Tomos and autocephaly," Filaret said.
Earlier, the head of the UOC-KP stated that the condition for autocephaly is to deprive the UOC of its name.
Not so long ago Filaret declared that the Kyiv Patriarchateis not willing to be under Constantinople. Upon that UOC-KP Spokesman Evstratiy Zoria underscored that schismatics see namely Filaret as a head of the budding SLC. As for the hierarchs of the Local Churches which do not recognize the Kyiv Patriarchate, they were accused by Zoria of corruption.
