Parubiy specifies the creation date of SLC in British Parliament
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrey Parubiy
The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament said that Ukraine should have a church "free from Moscow" and that it was Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church who is the author of the idea of the "Russian world", which is used in Ukraine as one of the technologies of a hybrid war, reports Polskie Radio.
Andrei Parubiy assured that Kiev does not have a direct influence on the Patriarchate of Constantinople, but at the same time "the decision (on autocephaly – Ed.) can be taken unexpectedly quickly."
Ukraine Parubiy called Ukraine the shield of Europe from Moscow.
"We are not a gray zone, we are the shield of Europe," said the VR Chairman. "We are defending the whole Europe, and the support that we receive from you is important to us in this context."
On May 29, the politician, who is supposedly not putting pressing on the Church, told the Patriarch of Jerusalem for more than an hour about the need for the creation of the SLC.
