Believers of the Rovno eparchy at the prayerful standing in Kiev
On October 4, 2018, believers of the Rovno eparchy gathered for a prayerful standing near the residence of Phanar exarchs in Kiev, reports a UOJ correspondent.
“We are Orthodox, and we didn’t ask for Tomos!”, “The sin of schism is not washed away with blood” – with such picket signs the UOC believers held a peaceful prayerful action under the windows of Phanar exarchs' residence.
A group of believers from the Rovno eparchy arrived in Kiev on October 2. As the UOJ reported, their bus, leaving Rovno, was attacked by radicals who threw stones at the vehicle.
On October 1, UOC believers held a peaceful prayerful standing near the residence of the Phanar exarchs to express their position – they are for the preservation of the canonical Church and against interference in its internal affairs.
