Timoshenko promises to introduce liability for denying the Local Church

"We will not only create [this church – Ed.] but also protect using all accessible legal methods", Timoshenko said at the forum New Social Doctrine: New Opportunities for Everyone in Kiev on Friday, as reported by Interfax.

"We will envisage severe punishments for any vandalism, for calls for violence, we will introduce liability for denying our Church. We will provide full-fledged support and reliable protection to our Ukrainian hierarchs, we will protect churches," Timoshenko said.

Earlier, Timoshenko has said that getting the Tomos on autocephaly is an important part of the struggle for the independence of Ukraine.
