Epiphany thanks UGCC head for amity between their churches

"Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine" Epiphany Dumenko in his congratulations, published on Sunday, May 5, on his Facebook page, thanked the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church "for supporting friendly relations between the Churches and the unshakable patriotic position".
“The cause of serving God is extremely responsible, and you work with dignity fulfilling the high duties assigned to you as the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church,” wrote Dumenko. “Thank you for promoting friendly relations between our Churches and for your unshakable patriotic position.”
Epiphany expressed the hope that the relationship between the OCU and the UGCC will continue to be "equally good and beneficial."
“May the All-Merciful Lord give you good health, longevity, spiritual joy and inexhaustible inspiration,” added the head of the OCU.
As the UOJ reported, Petro Poroshenko congratulated the head of the Greek Catholics, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, on his birthday noting his tireless work and support for the establishment of the OCU.
