Everyone understands that Constantinople committed lawlessness in Ukraine, exceeding all of its powers and the rights it has, noted in his commentary for the NewsOne channel His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine.
“The Tomos which the Patriarch of Constantinople granted to the so-called OCU is not the Tomos of autocephaly but the Tomos of slavery,” said His Beatitude. “It’s just under the name of “Tomos”, such conditions were provided that enslave our Ukrainian people to the Patriarch of Constantinople.”
His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry reminded that Constantinople has no right to interfere in the affairs of another Church.
“Everyone understands that Constantinople has exceeded all its powers and rights that it may have. It has no right to interfere in the affairs of another Church; these are well-known canons. This is lawlessness, everyone understands it,” added the Primate of the UOC.
Earlier, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry reminded that “every life trail is a kind of examination of our faith. It must always be remembered that without the will of God or the permission of God nothing happens either on earth or in the life of every single person”.
