Patriarch Theophilos: All difficulties will clear up by the grace of God

On December 10, 2019, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem met with a permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Varsonophy of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, the website Patriarchy.ru reports.
During the meeting, Bishop Varsonophy emphasized the special importance of the last visit of Patriarch Theophilos to Moscow and also thanked him for the efforts made to maintain the unity of the Orthodox Church.
In addition, Metropolitan Varsonophy also noted the significance of the proposal of Patriarch Theophilos to hold a Council of Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches in Jordan.
In turn, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem conveyed his thanks to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and noted that he was very optimistic about resolving the current pan-Orthodox crisis.
Patriarch Theophilos also emphasized that "all human difficulties that seem insurmountable can be resolved with God's help."
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Patriarch Theophilos invited the Primates of the Churches to discuss the issue of the OCU.
