On the evening of December 24, a sign of swastika was found on a welcome plate at the entrance to the Rivne synagogue, reports on December 25 Michael Tkach, the head of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine, on his Facebook page.

This incident was reported to the United Jewish Community of Ukraine by the Director of the Rivne Jewish community Gennady Fraerman.

Representatives of the Rivne City Jewish community also reported that two and a half years ago unknown persons stole surveillance cameras from the same synagogue, but the case has not yet been investigated.

In connection with the violation of the law, the United Jewish Community of Ukraine submitted an application to law enforcement agencies.

As reported earlier, the Anglican Church calls on Christians to repent "for centuries of murderous antisemitism" with the hope of a new era in Christian-Jewish relations.
