His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry said at the press conference in Podgorica he wishes more specific decisions had been taken on Ukraine in the final Amman communiqué.

“As far as I’m concerned about what we would like to see in the communiqué (of the Amman Synaxis – Ed.) but did not see it, I wish the decisions on Ukraine were more specific,” said His Beatitude.

At the same time, he expects to continue discussing this topic at subsequent meetings: “The issue of Ukraine at the Amman Synaxis calls for continued dialogue with all Orthodox Churches.”

Recall that the final communiqué of the Amman Meeting said the following: "Concerning the current ecclesiastical situation in the Ukraine the participants also recognised that a pan-Orthodox dialogue is necessary for healing and reconciliation."
