On December 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the last meeting of the Verkhovna Rada this year. He spoke about the domestic and foreign policy of Ukraine. MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak cited several theses of the President in his telegram channel.

Zelensky reportedly touched on the ecclesiastical issue indirectly, saying that "there is no such gold in the world for crosses that could cover the moral rust from ties to a terrorist state."

According to the UOJ, on December 27 the Constitutional Court of Ukraine recognized as constitutional an amendment to the Law of Ukraine "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations", with the help of which the enemies of the UOC want to rename it.
