Warrior on the front line: We defend Ukraine and will defend our faith

On December 29, 2022, Serhiy, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who is fighting in Izium, recorded a video message in which he said that he and his family were praying for the Church and for Ukraine. The video is posted in the Telegram channel +MDEFENDERS OF UKRAINE+.

“My parents are praying for us and for our Ukraine so that there is no disintegration of our Church. So am I … We are defending our Church and will continue to defend it,” Serhiy assured.

As the UOJ wrote, a reserve major from Uzhhorod said that one must remain allegiant to the Church like to an oath.
