"Lord have mercy, save and protect us sinful and unworthy and help us to protect our holy LAVRA," Larisa Ignatievna added.

"The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is salvation for every Kyivite, for every Ukrainian, for our beautiful city of Kyiv, for our beloved country Ukraine. We keep and protect this God-given treasury. God give us strength and guidance," said Svetlana Stashevskaya.

"The Lavra is going its own way of the cross today," added Viacheslav M.

"The Lavra has risen from the ashes, from the ruins. Such can be taken away! But God is not mocked! Never forget that!", wrote Nina Khashchina.

"Who will come on 28-29 (March - Ed.)?" asks Adequate Kyivite.

As reported, Metropolitan Anthony said UOC believers are ready to defend their shrines.
