On March 28, 2023, aggressive radicals seized the Ivano-Frankivsk Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

During a live broadcast on the Facebook page of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese, the radicals were said to have broken open the side doors and entered the temple. After that, they opened the central doors of the temple and pushed the believers down the stairs, using force against them.

The video also features the radicals attacking Bishop Nikita of Ivano-Frankivsk, knocking off his headgear.

Everything happened with the complete inaction of representatives of law and order.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that in Ivano-Frankivsk, a crowd came to “expel” believers from the UOC Cathedral. Tear gas was used during the assault on the cathedral.
