Abbot's lawyers given almost no time to prepare defense materials

Archpriest Nikita Chekman, the lawyer for the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, human rights activist, was given only 30 minutes to prepare materials for defense during a meeting in the Shevchenkovsky Court in Kyiv.
This was announced by Archpriest Nikita Chekman on his Facebook page.
Metropolitan Pavel thanked everyone who defends the faithful and the canonical Church and asked for holy prayers.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the abbot's lawyer was denied a motion to challenge the judge and postpone the case.
