The Shevchenkovsky Court in Kyiv has postponed the hearing on determining a preventive measure for the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed), to April 3, according to the strana.ua telegram channel.
Metropolitan Pavel felt unwell during the court session due to high blood sugar.
In connection with this circumstance, the judge decided to postpone the meeting to 09:00 on April 3, 2023.
After that, Metropolitan Pavel left the courtroom.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the prosecution demands that the abbot be placed under house arrest outside of the Lavra.
