The trial of the abbot of the Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel, will continue on April 1, 2023 at 18:30.
The abbot will be forcibly taken from the hospital, where he is now staying, to the Shevchenkovsky Сourt of Kyiv.
Archpriest Nikita Chekman, the abbot's lawyer, announced this on his Facebook page.
“It’s a chaos! After adjourning until Monday, the court rescheduled the court session until 5:00 pm today!!!! Vladyka is in the hospital, the court is deciding on the issue of a forced drive!!!” the lawyer wrote.
The lawyer asks the believers to come to the court to throw their support behind Metropolitan Pavel.
“People's presence and prayer will be helpful. The public position near the court matters,” said the lawyer, Archpriest Nikita.
As the UOJ previously reported, the trial of Metropolitan Pavel was postponed until Monday.
